The official teaser/trailer of the documentary "You Can See Everything" by A24 was released on 7th September 2026. It's linked to Elizabeth Holmes - the American businesswoman who was convicted and sent to prison for 11 years for committing the financial fraud, in connection with her health technology company Theranos. What really shocked the millions of viewers while watching the teaser/trailer is her spooky plastic doll like face and specifically - the abnormally longer maintained eye contact or eye-balling with Nathan Fielder (the interviewer-cum-interrogator) while keeping her eyebrows raised throughout and her upper teeth visible in intervals.
From 00:05 seconds to 00:53 seconds, an up-close shot of Elizabeth Holmes's whole face can be seen. During the short period of 48 seconds, she blinked 7 times in the same period, apart of partially lowering the eyelids. For the first three blinks, I've highlighted the exact words below in capital letters at which she blinked. To detect them precisely, I ran the whole clip at 1/4th of the normal speed. Also, it's not clear if any dialog between both of them took place before or after she revealed or confessed something to him.
Of course, these blinks were captured only when the camera was pointed at her face. As the camera was pointed at Nathan's face for almost half of the entire duration of the clip, we would never know if she blinked or gave any other facial expressions, during those off-camera moments. If two faces were kept in the same frame side by side then we could have seen them. That's why those missing body language cues of Elizabeth keep the whole picture incomplete.

We've imagine the situation in which this up-close interrogation might have took place. While sitting in the couch and seeping a hot beverage, Elizabeth might have be looking after her child resting in a white rocking chair. While sitting behind the same couch in a small chair, it is most likely that Nathan might have asked Elizabeth to look into in his eyes and speak to him, before or after revealing or confessing something to him. Actually, both of them were sitting in awkward body postures.
Whether she was being real to Nathan or simply deceiving him (and the audience) during the up-close interrogation like she deceived her investors a long ago can't be told after watching the short clip. We need to wait for theatrical release or online availability of the whole documentary. However, I'd like to share my own conclusion upon closely analyzing Elizabeth's blinks, her facial expressions, the words she spoken or heard and body language of Nathan.
As Nathan's eyes were sniper-locked on Elizabeth's (whole) face throughout his awkwardly up-close interrogation, he was trying to examine the honesty or truthfulness of Elizabeth. At the same time, Elizabeth was curiously cross-examining Nathan to know if he was totally convinced or believed her, before or after revealing or confessing something to him, perhaps for the first time to tell her side of the whole story in the documentary.
[#Critical Update: As one behaviour analyst promptly pointed out through a private message, we really don't know if she was on medication (e. g. depression, hypertension etc.) at the time (of shooting of the particular scene) or what pressures she was facing at that moment.
